WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Proof of birth (birth certificate/passport/ID of some sort) *note* we will not collect copies of these until you accept an offer to join a team. We just need to see it at check-in to verify age

COPY of your current CHRVA Membership Card/email receipt. (See steps below)

The completed and signed, Volleyball Player Medical Release Form.

OFFERS
Offers made by Monarch Elite Volleyball guarantee you a spot on our team until 10 PM on the Tuesday after tryouts.
The deadline to accept the offer is Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 at 10PM.
After the deadline, we will offer your spot to another player.
Players may receive an offer at any time during the tryout process.

Please follow the steps below:
1. Determine your age classification using the document titled USA Volleyball Junior Player Age Definition.
2. Create or renew your registration after August 1 at the CHRVA Registration Information (click) Page. Print a copy of your membership card and bring it with you to tryouts. You will also be emailed your membership information when you complete registration. YOU MUST BE A CURRENT REGISTERED MEMBER OF CHRVA AND PROVIDE PROOF OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLUB TRYOUTS. (you can see how to access your digital card here). New to this? 3. Pre-register for Monarch Elite Tryouts above.
4. The Volleyball Player Medical Release Form is required for pre-registration and tryouts. Download the form, complete, sign, and bring the filled out & signed form to tryouts. Click Here for the form.
Only athletes who have registered in advance will be allowed to attend the Tryout session for which they are registered. You only need to pay once for tryouts, regardless of which tryout you attend, or if you are invited to a call-back session.
My child is not 12 yet, can they still try out for 12U?
- Yes! We are accepting ages 10 - 12 yrs!
USAV/CHRVA Membership
IMPORTANT: CHRVA/USAV MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN MONARCH ELITE VOLLEYBALL CLUB
If you do not have a NEW 2025-2026 CHRVA/USAV Membership, you must complete the following steps prior to registering for tryouts.
CHRVA/USAV MEMBERSHIPS EXPIRE ON 8/31 EACH YEAR. You must purchase a new annual membership to attend Monarch Elite Volleyball Tryouts.
All program participants are required to be members of CHRVA, the governing body for USA Volleyball in our region. Becoming a member of CHRVA is a separate process from the MONARCH ELITE VOLLEYBALL registration, and all fees are paid to CHRVA and USA Volleyball, not to MONARCH ELITE Volleyball. Once you complete the registration, you will receive a 7-digit (no letters) CHRVA Membership number.

Go to CHRVA Memberships and choose the ANNUAL JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP based on your child’s age and gender and click Register.

If you do not have a SportsEngine account yet, enter the email address of an adult and follow the process to create a new account. It's very important to create the SportsEngine account for the parent/adult first and then add your child as an athlete sub/profile under your parent account

Once you have created the account, select either your child or click ADD A CHILD to add a new child to your account.

Complete the child information and finish the CHRVA registration process.

Make a note of the 7-digit (no letters) number that appears at the end of the process (Membership ID). You'll need this for our tryout registration.
